NY Jets DB Antonio Cromartie joined Jay Mohr Sports on Thursday after his head coach Rex Ryan's extension was announced...We also asked him about his future with the team.

Mohr:  "Rex Ryan will be signing a multi-year extension, you've got to be happy about that"?

Cromartie:  " How can you not be? He's a great coach. He understands what everyone wants and he knows what he wants for the organization and that's to bring a Super Bowl title".

Mohr:  "I know earlier in the year, we all thought Rex was gone when new GM John Idzik came in.  In the locker room during the season, did you guys think he was going to be gone"?

Cromartie:  "No, we didn't. We didn't get any (vibe) that he was going to be gone".

Mohr: "Did Rex tell you guys during the season he was going to be on his way out? Because that's been widely reported...."

Cromartie:  " No.....Rex just stood up in front of us and told us he didn't know what was going to happen".

Mohr:  "Do you think you'll be a cap casualty for the Jets? If they ask you to restructure, would you even think about that"?

Cromartie: "I don't want to talk about my contract. I don't know what's going to happen. Anything that's been reported, nobody knows. Do I have a high cap number? I do.. But, for me to sit here and say I might do this or I might get cut, I just don't know. I want to be a Jet and retire a Jet. I love it here. I love the direction we're headed in. I think this is the best place for myself and this is where I want to be".
