San Antonio Police Beef Up Staffing Due To Protests

San Antonio Police Chief William McManus says after seeing what's happened in other cities, police staffing has been beefed up ahead of protests in downtown San Antonio. The department is also getting help from the Department of Public Safety.

McManus said officers will also be guarding the Alamo and making sure vandals don't cause any damage. Earlier in the week someone spray painted graffiti on the Cenotaph in front of the Alamo.
