$1.1 Million Worth Of Cocaine Discovered During Texas Bust

A drug bust in Fayette County has led to the discovery of more than a $1.1 million worth of cocaine.

Fayette County Narcotics K-9 Unit Seizes 11 Kilos of Cocaine on Traffic Stop

Deputies say they made the discovery after stopping a vehicle on I-10 for a traffic violation. After speaking to the driver, they became suspicious. The truck had signage claiming to be with a fiber optics company, but the roof of the vehicle had been modified to conceal the narcotics. During the search, approximately 11 kilos of cocaine was discovered, with a street value of $1.1 million.

The driver was taken into custody on felony drug possession.
