Conference Committee Set Up Over Texas Permitless Carry Bill

A conference committee is being finalized as the Texas House and Senate attempts to negotiate a permitless carry bill. Select members of both chambers were named to the committee today. The panel was put together after the House rejected changes to the bill. It would allow Texans to carry a handgun without getting a License to Carry. One would still be needed to travel to other states. Governor Greg Abbott says he'll sign the bill if it passes both chambers.
