Sutherland Springs Survivors Win Case Against Federal Government

A federal judge in Texas is siding with victims of the Sutherland Springs church massacre, and ordering the federal government to pay tens of millions of dollars in damages. The shooter, who killed 26 people at a Baptist church near San Antonio, was a former member of the Air Force. He was convicted of domestic violence, but that information was never uploaded to a federal gun buying database. Federal Judge Xavier Rodriguez ordered millions of dollars for pain and mental anguish, and millions more for medical bills.
