A Potential Russell Westbrook Trade for Kyrie Irving Could Work

Chris Broussard: “The only player Kyrie Irving has had team success was with LeBron James. Ben Simmons has been a protégé of LeBron James, and a lot people have been hung up on Russell Westbrook. To me, the Nets would keep Russ if Kevin Durant signs off. They never won a chip together in Oklahoma City, but they were pretty successful. If I’m the Nets, I’m working it out with Kyrie and Ben, but if they can’t, I would consider this trade.”

Today on The Odd Couple, Chris Broussard and Ephraim Salaam discuss a hypothetical trade that would send Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook for Kyrie Irving and Ben Simmons. Chris thinks if the Lakers or Nets can’t come to terms with their respective superstars, then this potential trade would benefit both teams.
